UK SH CH SASHDAN SMOKIN JOE
On Sunday the 22nd of January I awoke to the greatest possible news. Together Ross and Smokey had won there 3rd CC and Best of Breed out of 214 entries. This win now makes Smokey a UK Show Champion. It is a brilliant effort as Smokey has only been in the UK for 10 months and since arriving has been completely out of coat due to climate changes. Smokeys first CC and BEST IN SHOW came just 48 hours after arriving in the UK in April, his second CC came in June, followed by his 3rd CC and BOB In January.
Thankyou very much, Ross for giving Smokey such a loving home and for promoting him so well, we wish you every success with Smokey in the future.

Congratulations to my son Jeremy Inverno, who was asked to attend the Shetland Sheep Dog Club of Victoria Members competition, Jeremy was given the opportunity to step inside the show ring for the very first time. Thankyou very much to Sue, Karen And Darren (Louanda) for giving Jeremy the opportunity to handle there 7 month old puppy - Clara - "Louanda Show Stopper" for the day.

Rex goes home

For me this is a happy and sad story, We farewelled Rex who has now gone back to live with his previous owners, Greame and Vicki Birch, Rex was returned to us after Greame had a very serious accident. The good news is that Greame is now doing well and is improving each day.
Whilst it was sad to see Rex move away it was great to see him reunited with his family :)

The good results keep on coming !

On the 19th of October we showed in Numurkah, the weather was beautiful, and we enjoyed another successful day of showing

At just 7 months old Connor has now won his very first CC and another Group award.

We enjoy Royal Melbourne Show Success !!!!

We attended the prestigious Royal Melbourne Show, our show team this year was Connor, Harmony, Katie (this was Katies very first show) and Faith. From the 4 dogs we competed with we had brilliant results with 3 of them recieving awards.
The judge for the day was Mr Bo Skalin (Finland)

Smokey arrived safely in the United Kingdom on the 8th of April 2011. He had a very long flight and was delayed at his stop over in Kuala Lumpa by nearly 4 hours. Upon his arrival his fantastic personality and temperment shone through as he bonded to Ross immediatly. Smokey happily went with Ross to be in his new home and meet to his new family. Smokey adjusted very quickly and took everything in his stride. Ross had Smokey for just 2 days when they attended there first show together on the 10th of April. This was the Southern Border Collie Club Championship Show, together Ross and Smokey had a brilliant day, there results were:
1st in Open Dog
Dog CC
BEST IN SHOW

Total number of Border Collie entries 197

Thankyou to the judges who recognised Smokeys great qualities :
Mr Richard Kinsey Kitarn who awarded Smokey the Open dog class and the dog CC and Mr Gary Clarke, who awarded Smokey BEST IN SHOW.

Smokey also now has his KC Stud book number and is qualified to compete at Crufts for life.
I guess you could say Smokey has arrived !

Faith is now emmortalised in paint..
It came as a big surprise when I found that this lovely photo of Faith was selected by world renowned artist John Silver to be put into a water painting. This painting is just lovely it's now with me and soon to be hanging in my house.
